Warranty Conditions – Quality You Can Rely On
At Promed, quality comes first. Our products are manufactured and tested with the utmost care.
For your safety and satisfaction, we offer a 24-month warranty from the date of purchase.
Below, you will find all details regarding warranty conditions, exclusions, and the necessary steps in the event of a warranty claim.
General Warranty Conditions
- Warranty period: 24 months from the date of purchase.
- Scope of service: If verifiable material and/or manufacturing defects occur during proper use,
we will replace all defective parts free of charge within the warranty period, including labor costs for warranty repairs.
- Proof: The warranty is only valid if the purchase date is proven by a receipt or similar proof of purchase.
Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear of the product.
- Defects caused by transportation or improper storage.
- Defects or damages resulting from improper use, insufficient maintenance, or failure to follow the user manual.
- Damages caused by modifications not carried out by Promed.
- Damages resulting from sharp objects, torsion, compression, drops, abnormal impact, or other external factors beyond Promed’s control.
Additionally, the warranty does not cover:
- Wear parts (e.g., moving parts such as ball bearings, closures).
- Products that are not returned in their original packaging or a sufficiently secure package.
- Products modified or repaired by unauthorized third parties.
- Products repaired using non-Promed-approved spare parts.
- Products with removed, erased, altered, or illegible serial numbers.
Special Requirements for Returns
Products that come into direct contact with the body or bodily fluids (e.g., blood) must, for hygiene reasons,
be packaged in a plastic bag before return. A corresponding note should be included in the package or accompanying documents.
Warranty Validity
- This warranty is only valid in the country where the product was originally purchased by the first buyer,
provided Promed intended the product for sale in that country.
- The warranty is also enforceable within the European Economic Area, provided that Promed has an authorized importer or distribution partner there.
- National statutory warranty rights remain unaffected by this warranty.
Additional Legal Notices
- The warranty period is not extended or renewed by repairs or replacement of individual parts.
- The provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) do not apply.
- Promed is not liable for consequential damages such as lost profits, loss of use, lost income, or any other indirect damages resulting from the use of the product.

- Purchase receipt/invoice or dealer stamp with the purchase date.
- Product name, type, and serial/batch number.
- Description of the detected defect.
Returns: Pack the product securely, ideally in its original packaging.
