Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What is the difference between the UVL-36S and the UVL-54 All-In?
The UVL-36S uses classic UV tube technology (365 nm) and reliably cures classic UV gels and acrylic. The UVL-54 All-In is the LED-based alternative, which additionally cures LED-optimised gels.
Which gels can I cure with it?
Classic UV gels (365 nm) and acrylic. Products that are specifically LED-optimised may not cure fully with pure UV tube technology.
What are the 30- and 60-minute timers for?
For long curing or drying cycles. Individual gel layers usually only need 90 to 120 seconds.
Which replacement tubes fit the device?
Exclusively original replacement tubes of type UV-9W-L (365 nm, G23 socket), available individually or as a set of 4.
Why does the hand rest stick on a new device?
On first use, the transport locks on the hand rest must be removed first. After that, it can be pulled out and reinserted normally.
Is eye protection necessary?
Yes. UV radiation can damage the eyes and skin – protective goggles are strongly recommended, and you should never look directly into the tubes.
What warranty do I get?
A 24-month manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase.
