FAQ
What is the difference between the 625 and the 1030?
Both are compact tabletop devices with a stainless-steel handpiece. The 625, at 25,000 rpm, sits in the well-balanced range: precise enough for nail design, powerful enough for gentle pedicure. The 1030 (Art. 201030) offers up to 30,000 rpm for intensive modelling work.
Which bits fit the 625?
The 625 has the standard 2.35 mm professional rotary collet and is compatible with the entire Promed bit range: titanium bits (gold head, Art. 198551), tungsten carbide bits, sapphire burs, ceramic burs, diamond bits.
Does the 625 have extraction?
No, the 625 is a compact tabletop device without integrated extraction. For intensive modelling with a lot of dust, we recommend the Promed devices with extraction: 4030 SX2 (Art. 204036) or 4040 (Art. 204040). Alternatively, it can be supplemented with over-table extraction such as the Promed Nailfan Mini (Art. 230120).
What does ASC mean?
ASC (Automatic Speed Control) is an electronic speed regulation that keeps the set speed constant – even under load. Benefit: an even grinding pattern and precise work.
What does Safety Stop provide?
In the event of blockages or excessive resistance, the device switches off automatically and protects the motor. As soon as the blockage is cleared, operation can be resumed.
What warranty does Promed offer on the 625?
Promed provides a manufacturer's warranty of 24 months from the date of purchase. The device is developed and manufactured in Germany.
