If you already own bits or prefer to buy your own bits selectively, the 620 is the cheaper option. For newcomers we recommend the 200630 complete package.
Which upgrade is worth it for higher speed?
For higher professional demands, the following are ideal from the Promed range: the file 625 (art. 116510, stainless steel handpiece) or the file 725 (art. 117510, professional twist collet, 10-LED display). For maximum speed: the file 1030 (art. 201030, professional tabletop device up to 30,000 rpm). For manicure and pedicure with higher torque: the file 2020 (art. 202025).
Which bits fit the 620?
The 620 has an automatic quick-change collet for standard bits with a shaft diameter of 2.32–2.35 mm. All Promed bits are compatible: sapphire, diamond, ceramic, carbide bits, titanium bits with gold head (e.g. art. 198551).
Is there a replacement handpiece?
Yes, the matching replacement handpiece has the article number 200601 (Promed Handpiece 620 for the file 620). Changing it is tool-free.
What does Safety Stop mean?
If too much pressure is applied while filing, the electronics detect this and switch the device off automatically. This protects both the user and the device from overload.
