Using it is this easy

1. Step 1 – Set up: Place the Promed the file 4030-SX2 on the work table, insert the handpiece into the holder, guide the suction hose into the hanger, connect the mains cable.
2. Step 2 – Insert bit: Insert a suitable bit (titanium, tungsten carbide, sapphire, ceramic) into the 2.35 mm quick-clamping collet – it locks automatically on start-up. Check the fit.
3. Step 3 – Select speed: Set the desired speed via the membrane keypad or use one of the three memory buttons. For intensive modelling work, switch on the extraction.
4. Step 4 – Work: Press the micro switch on the handpiece and start the manicure/pedicure. When the filter bag change indicator appears, replace the bag in good time (see operating manual).

Care and safety instructions

Please read the operating manual carefully before first use.

• Change the filter bag in good time: When the device shows the change indicator. Replacement filters available under art. 195870 and 195871.
• Only change bits when the motor is stopped: Use the micro switch, never change while the bit is running.
• Cleaning the control unit: Wipe with a slightly damp cloth – never bring into direct contact with water.
• Clean and disinfect bits: After each use, remove material residue with a bit cleaning brush or compressed air and disinfect.
• Do not drop the handpiece: The POM plastic is robust, but drops can damage the fine mechanics.
• In case of overheating: The safety shut-off engages – let the device cool down sufficiently before switching it on again.
• Keep ventilation slots clear: Do not cover, ensure sufficient air circulation.
