Promed TENS-1000s – the analogue TENS device for pain relief
The Promed TENS-1000s (model WL-2103A) is a portable, battery-powered TENS device (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) for pain relief. Using rotary controls, you set mode, frequency, pulse width and intensity continuously – without an EMS function. Compact and portable. For home use only.

How easy it is to use
- Step 1: Clean the skin over the painful area (clean, dry, grease-free).
- Step 2: Place the electrodes over the painful area and connect the cable.
- Step 3: Select the mode (Continuous, Burst or Modulation), set the timer and slowly increase the intensity for each channel.
- Step 4: To finish, turn the intensity to zero, switch the device off and remove the electrodes.

Important safety information
- Pacemaker or implanted defibrillator: do not use without a medical assessment.
- Do not place the electrodes on/around the neck, on the head, on the face or over the chest/heart (risk of cardiac arrhythmia, breathing difficulties).
- Do not use on wounds, scars, inflamed, infected or swollen skin or over metal implants.
- During pregnancy and menstruation, do not use on the abdomen/lumbar area; consult a doctor first in the case of unexplained pain.
- Do not use while sleeping, driving, operating machinery or in/near water.
- Use indoors only; keep the device and batteries out of the reach of children.
- Never rinse the electrodes under running water.
FAQ
What is the difference between the TENS-1000s and the EMT-6?
The TENS-1000s is a pure TENS pain-relief device. The EMT-6 (Art. 352420) is a combination device with TENS AND EMS – so it also offers muscle stimulation. If you only need pain relief, the 1000 S is the more economical choice.
Which replacement electrodes fit?
Standard Promed electrodes: 40x40 mm (Art. 359170), 32 mm round (Art. 359177), 45x45 mm (Art. 359171) or 45x80 mm (Art. 359178).
