Promed Sanding Mandrel, plastic (198564) – carrier for sanding bands and sandpaper caps
The Promed sanding mandrel made of plastic is the holder (carrier) onto which you slip Promed sanding bands or sandpaper caps. Once the sanding band or cap is worn, simply pull it off and slip on a new one – the mandrel stays in use. Fits all Promed nail drill devices with a 2.35 mm collet.

Care and safety instructions
- After use, clean in an ultrasonic bath (e.g. Promed UC-50 / UC-60); do not autoclave (plastic, heat-sensitive).
- Change the sanding band/cap regularly for hygiene reasons.

What do I need the mandrel for?
The mandrel is the carrier onto which you slip sanding bands or sandpaper caps. Without a mandrel, bands and caps cannot be used.
Can I autoclave the mandrel?
No. The plastic mandrel is not autoclavable – clean it in an ultrasonic bath. An autoclavable carrier is available as the metal mandrel (198583).
