The device measures functional arterial oxygen saturation (SpO₂) and the pulse rate at the fingertip. In addition, the OLED display shows the pulse wave.
How accurate is the measurement?
In the range of 70–100 %, the accuracy for SpO₂ is ±2 % and for the pulse rate ±3 beats/min. Below 70 % SpO₂, no accuracy is specified.
Can I use the device on children or infants?
No. The PM-300 Pro is not suitable for newborns and infants and is designed for a finger diameter of 8–25.4 mm.
Does the pulse oximeter replace a medical examination?
