Easy application
- Step 1 – Charge & prepare: Before first use, charge the battery for approx. 3–4 hours via USB-C and rinse the tank and nozzles with water.
- Step 2 – Select nozzle & fill tank: Attach the desired nozzle, fill the tank with lukewarm water (max. 40 °C) and close the lid.
- Step 3 – Select mode & apply: Over the sink, place the nozzle in your mouth, only then switch on and choose between Soft, Normal, Pulse, DIY and Spot. Guide the jet along the gum line and between the teeth.
- Step 4 – After use: Switch off the device, empty the tank and let the parts air-dry. Replace nozzles every 3–6 months and do not share them with others.

Care and safety instructions
Please read the instructions for use carefully before first use.
- Do not aim the water jet at the eyes, ears or throat.
- Fill only with lukewarm water up to max. 40 °C.
- Do not share nozzles with others (hygiene) – replace nozzles every 3–6 months.
- Consult a dentist in case of persistent gum bleeding; slight bleeding during the first 1–2 weeks is normal.
- Do not disassemble or modify the device; do not expose it to direct sunlight or open flames.
- Keep out of the reach of children; the marking rings on the nozzles are small parts and pose a choking hazard.
- Check the device and cable for damage before use – do not operate if damaged.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Which mode is suitable for beginners?
For first use and sensitive gums, the Soft mode (55–110 PSI) is recommended. For daily cleaning, the Normal mode is then suitable.
What does the DIY mode do?
In DIY mode, the pressure gradually increases within a 12-second cycle from weak (30 PSI) to strong (140 PSI) – you can stop individually as soon as the intensity feels right.
Can the oral irrigator go in the shower or under running water?
Yes – the Promed MD-310 is IPX7 waterproof and can be rinsed under running water without any problem.
My gums bleed during first use – is that normal?
Slight bleeding during the first few days is normal and usually subsides within 1–2 weeks. If the bleeding persists longer, speak to your dentist.
How often should I replace the nozzles?
Replace the nozzles every 3–6 months or sooner if wear becomes visible. Matching replacement nozzles for the white MD-310 are available under article numbers 470003–470008.
How long does the battery last?
With once-daily use, one battery charge lasts up to 35 days. The Li-ion battery is charged via USB-C, and a full charge takes approx. 3–4 hours.
Does the oral irrigator replace brushing?
No. The Promed MD-310 is a useful complement to daily oral care, but not a replacement for a toothbrush or a visit to the dentist.
Is the MD-310 also available in another colour?
Yes – besides white (art. 470001), the Promed MD-310 is also available in black (art. 470002). The technology and features are identical for both versions; only the matching replacement nozzles differ in colour.
