Using it is this easy

1. Step 1 – Connect: Connect the plug of the control unit to the plug of the heating pad and insert the mains plug into a socket (220–240 V AC).
2. Step 2 – Put it on: Place the pad loosely around the neck and upper back and secure it with the hook-and-loop strap at the neck and the securing band with snap fastener at the hip.
3. Step 3 – Switch on & adjust: Press the On/Off button, then select the temperature (level 1–9 or H) and the desired operating time (level 1–9, approx. 10 minutes each) on the control unit.
4. Step 4 – After use: Once the selected operating time has elapsed, the pad switches off automatically. Switch off the control unit and unplug the mains plug.

Care and safety information

Please read the operating instructions carefully before first use.

• Apply the heating pad loosely – there should always be some air between the device and the skin. Do not operate it folded up or creased.
• Use indoors only, never operate with wet hands and do not use in the bath, shower, pool, sauna or outdoors.
• Before washing, detach the cover from the heating pad via the press studs; wash the cover at 40 °C on a delicate cycle; do not wash the heating pad itself.
• Use only the supplied GL-05 control unit – other control units are not permitted.
• Do not cover the control unit or place it on the pad during operation.
• Not suitable for children under 3 years. Children between 3 and 8 years only under supervision; not suitable for helpless or heat-insensitive persons.
• Wearers of a pacemaker should consult their doctor and the manufacturer before use.
• In the case of varicose veins, thrombosis, circulatory problems, open wounds, burns or haematomas, consult a doctor before use.
