Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What does the dust protection class “L” stand for?
The dust protection class “L” is certified to DIN EN ISO 60335-2-69 and confirms reliable capture of fine and coarse dust as produced when filing and drilling nails.
How often do I need to change or clean the filter?
The filter should be tapped out or vacuumed regularly. If needed, it can be washed with clean water – then let it dry completely before refitting. If suction performance declines permanently, we recommend the replacement filter (Art. 230800).
How loud is the Nailfan in operation?
At just 46 dB(A), the Nailfan works pleasantly quietly – even in continuous use in everyday salon work.
What does “side cool-air outlet” mean?
The device’s exhaust air is discharged to the side instead of flowing directly across the rest surface – so your fingers stay pleasantly warm during the treatment.
Is the Nailfan available in another colour?
Yes, the Nailfan is also available in White (Art. 230110) – technically identical to the pink version.
How does the Nailfan differ from the Nailfan mini?
The Nailfan is the large, powerful salon device with dust protection class “L” and up to 180 m³/h air performance. The more compact Nailfan mini (Art. 230120) and Nailfan Mini-X (Art. 230121) models are smaller, more mobile devices with their own features – ideal for hobby users or mobile use.
Is a filter bag necessary?
No. The Nailfan works with a large, washable fine-dust particle filter – a filter bag is not required, which saves on running costs.
