The Promed HGP-1.7 is an electric heating belt for the soothing warming of the back, lumbar and abdominal area. Thanks to the hook-and-loop fastener, it sits securely on the body, and 10 temperature settings and 9 operating-time settings can be individually adjusted to your warmth needs.

Using it is this simple

1. Step 1 – Connect: connect the plug of the GL-05 control unit to the plug of the heating belt and insert the mains plug.
2. Step 2 – Switch on: press the on/off button; the red line flashes for 10 seconds – within this time, press another button to switch the device on.
3. Step 3 – Adjust: select the temperature setting (1–9, H) and the desired operating time (9 settings of approx. 10 minutes each, max. 90 minutes). The default setting is level 4 / 40 minutes.
4. Step 4 – Put on & after use: fasten the belt loosely with the hook-and-loop fastener so that air remains between the belt and the skin. After use, the device switches off automatically; then unplug the mains plug.

Care and safety information

Please read the operating instructions carefully before first use.

• Detach the GL-05 control unit before washing; the belt is washable at 40 °C on a delicate wash; do not iron, bleach, dry-clean or spin-dry.
• Use only the supplied original GL-05 control unit; operate only indoors and never with wet hands; do not use in the bath, shower, pool, sauna or outdoors.
• Put the heating belt on loosely so that air remains between the belt and the skin; do not operate it folded or crumpled; do not cover the control unit or place it on the belt.
• Not suitable for children under 3 years; between 3–8 years only under supervision; not suitable for helpless persons or persons insensitive to heat.
• Do not wear while sleeping.
• Persons with a pacemaker should consult their doctor and the manufacturer of the implant before use.
• In the case of varicose veins, thrombosis, circulatory problems, open wounds, burns or haematomas, consult a doctor before use.
• With direct skin contact, check regularly for redness; if redness or discomfort occurs, take off the belt.
