How to Use – Step by Step

- Step 2 – Position the electrodes: Peel off the protective film and press the round electrode adhesive-side onto the desired spot (over the painful area for TENS, on the muscle belly for EMS).
- Step 3 – Connect & treat: Plug the 2 mm pin connector into your TENS/EMS device and start treatment as instructed in the device manual.
- Step 4 – After use: Carefully unplug, slowly remove the electrodes from the skin and immediately stick them back onto the protective liner. Store in the resealable pouch in a cool, dry place.

Please read the user manual of your TENS/EMS device carefully before first use.
- Never rinse the electrodes under running water or fully soak them – this damages the hydrogel and adhesive layer.
- If adhesion weakens: simply dab a single drop of water onto the gel surface and let it absorb briefly. Alternatively, the Promed Tensive Contact Gel can be used for even better adhesion and conductivity.
- After each use, immediately stick the electrodes back onto the protective liner and seal in the pouch.
- Store in a cool, dry place – ideally in the refrigerator to extend life and conductivity. Avoid direct sunlight and heat.
- Do not apply electrodes over wounds, inflammation or irritated skin.
- Do not use near the heart, throat, eyes or over metallic implants.

Larger square electrodes (e.g. Promed 359170 with 40×40 mm) are better suited for broader treatments such as the back, upper arms or thighs.
Which Promed devices are these electrodes compatible with?

What if the electrodes lose their grip?
Dab a single drop of water onto the gel surface – do not rinse, just moisten lightly. This refreshes the hydrogel. For even better adhesion and conductivity we recommend Promed Tensive Contact Gel as an alternative. If adhesion remains weak or stimulation is uncomfortable, the electrodes are worn out and should be replaced.
