Getting started is easy
- Step 1 – Fill: remove the cover and fill the tank with clean, cold water up to the MAX mark.
- Step 2 – Add fragrance: add 3 to 5 drops of fragrance oil to a full tank (300 ml) into the water. All Promed fragrance oils and aroma essences (item no. 262010–262028) are suitable – do not use other purely oily fragrance oils or alcohol-based perfumes.
- Step 3 – Connect: put the cover on and connect the original mains adapter.
- Step 4 – Enjoy: switch on the device, select the timer (2 or 4 hours) and the desired light colour.

- Use only in dry indoor spaces – not in the bathroom, shower, sauna or outdoors.
- Operate exclusively with the original mains adapter; do not let the adapter and cable come into contact with water.
- Do not fill the tank above the MAX mark; add only water and suitable fragrance oils.
- Clean the tank regularly and descale it about every 14 days (diluted citric acid), then rinse out with clean water.
- Children only under supervision; do not operate the device unattended.

How many drops of fragrance oil should I use?
3 to 5 drops of fragrance oil to a full tank (300 ml) – a little more or less as you like for the desired fragrance intensity.
How long does the diffuser run on one fill?
With the 300 ml tank approx. 5 to 9 hours. Using the timer you can limit the running time to 2 or 4 hours as you wish; when the tank is empty it switches off automatically.
Can I also use the device just for humidifying?
Yes. The AL-305 can also be operated entirely without fragrance oil as a pure ultrasonic nebuliser.
Which fragrance oils are suitable?
All Promed fragrance oils and aroma essences (item no. 262010–262028) are suitable for the diffuser — essential oils and fragrance-oil compositions. Please do not use other purely oily fragrance oils or alcohol-based perfumes, which can clog the ultrasonic nebuliser.
What is the difference between essential oil, essential composition, fragrance oil and nature-identical oil?
100% essential oils: Essential oils are obtained by distillation or oil/alcohol extraction from the blossoms, leaves, seeds, fruit peels, roots and resins of a wide variety of plants. They are highly concentrated, pure and natural, and free from any additives.
100% essential compositions: Essential compositions are professionally balanced blends of several 100% pure, natural essential oils. All components come exclusively from plant sources – without synthetic additives.
Fragrance oils: Fragrance oils are compositions of predominantly synthetic raw materials and natural scents. They provide an intense, stable fragrance and are ideal for candles, room scents and cosmetics.
Nature-identical oil: Nature-identical oils have exactly the same chemical structure as their natural counterpart, but are produced synthetically.

How do I clean the diffuser after using it with fragrance oil?
Empty the tank after every use and wipe it out with a soft, damp cloth. When switching fragrances, clean the tank thoroughly so the aromas do not mix. Descale the device regularly with diluted citric acid as described in the instruction manual.
What room size is the AL-305 designed for?
As a guide value, it is suitable for rooms of about 15 to 20 m².
