Getting started is easy
- Step 1: remove the device cover and fill the water tank with clean water up to the MAX line (1.3 L (1,300 ml)).
- Step 2: add 5–10 drops (more if desired) per tank fill. All Promed fragrance oils and aroma essences (item no. 262010–262028) are suitable – do not use other purely oily fragrance oils or alcohol-based perfumes.
- Step 3: put the device cover back on and connect the mains adapter.
- Step 4: switch on and choose the desired mode (selectable 1H / 3H / 6H timer with automatic shut-off).
- Step 5: after use, unplug the mains plug and empty the water tank.

What is the difference between essential oil, essential composition, fragrance oil and nature-identical oil?
100% essential oils: Essential oils are obtained by distillation or oil/alcohol extraction from the blossoms, leaves, seeds, fruit peels, roots and resins of a wide variety of plants. They are highly concentrated, pure and natural, and free from any additives.
100% essential compositions: Essential compositions are professionally balanced blends of several 100% pure, natural essential oils. All components come exclusively from plant sources – without synthetic additives.
Fragrance oils: Fragrance oils are compositions of predominantly synthetic raw materials and natural scents. They provide an intense, stable fragrance and are ideal for candles, room scents and cosmetics.
Nature-identical oil: Nature-identical oils have exactly the same chemical structure as their natural counterpart, but are produced synthetically.
All Promed fragrance oils and aroma essences (item no. 262010–262028) are suitable for the diffuser.
How do I clean the diffuser after using it with fragrance oil?
Empty the tank after every use and wipe it out with a soft, damp cloth. When switching fragrances, clean the tank thoroughly so the aromas do not mix. Descale the device regularly with diluted citric acid as described in the instruction manual.
Is there a version with a UK plug?

How long does the diffuser run on one fill?
Approx. 10–14 hours in continuous operation (guide value). The timer can be set to 1H / 3H / 6H (max. 6 h per cycle); after that the device switches off automatically, as it also does when the tank is empty.
Can I also use the diffuser in the bedroom?
Yes – the Promed AL-1300 WS is very quiet. Keep an eye on the water level: when the tank is empty, the misting switches off automatically.
