Promed Sanding Mandrel, rubber 10×15 mm (198581) – carrier for sanding bands and sandpaper caps
The Promed sanding mandrel made of rubber in size 10×15 mm is a holder (carrier) onto which you slip Promed sanding bands or sandpaper caps. The elastic rubber core adapts to the contour and ensures a secure, flexible fit of the slip-on sleeve – the more compact version is well suited for precise work on smaller areas. Once the sanding band or cap is worn, pull it off and slip on a new one. Fits all Promed nail drill devices with a 2.35 mm collet.

Care and safety instructions
- After use, clean in an ultrasonic bath (e. g. Promed UC-50 / UC-60); do not autoclave (rubber, heat-sensitive).
- Replace the sanding band/cap regularly for hygiene reasons.

What is the difference between the rubber mandrels 10×15 and 13×19 mm?
Both work the same way. The 10×15 mm mandrel (198581) is more compact and suited for precise work on smaller areas, while the 13×19 mm mandrel (198580) offers more surface for working over larger areas.
Can I autoclave the mandrel?
No. The rubber mandrel is not autoclavable – clean it in an ultrasonic bath. An autoclavable carrier is available as the metal mandrel (198583).
