The Promed Sanding Bands in a coarse grit are single-use slip-on sleeves for working on natural nails and calluses. The coarse grit is suitable for the vigorous removal of pronounced calluses and thicker areas of the nail. The bands are pushed onto a Promed sanding mandrel and changed after use for hygiene reasons. For all Promed nail drills with a 2.35 mm collet.

The sanding bands are pushed onto a Promed sanding mandrel (e.g. plastic 198564, plastic long 198565/L, metal autoclavable 198583 or rubber 198580 / 198581). The mandrel fits all Promed nail drills with a standard collet (2.35 mm).

What is the coarse grit intended for?
For the vigorous removal of pronounced calluses and thicker areas of the nail. For finer finishing, switch to medium (198562) or fine (198561) afterwards.
Do I need a mandrel for them?
Yes. The sanding bands are pushed onto a Promed sanding mandrel (available separately). Without a mandrel they cannot be used.
